Building Our Legacy
Our Story

Two veterans. One vision. A Legacy in the making.
Cooperstown Legacy was conceived by two combat veterans cheering their three children through baseball and softball. Coaches and parents who understand the value of discipline, preparation, teamwork, accountability and commitment.
Casey and Emily Cooper brought those principles together with their passion for the sports to create something they believed Louisville was missing: a truly comprehensive indoor training destination designed around the complete development of baseball and softball athletes.
They observed a growing youth sports community filled with talented players, dedicated families, competitive teams, and passionate coaches.
They also saw a challenge. The demand for quality, indoor training was growing faster than the available facilities within the community.
Rather than simply identify the gap, Casey and Emily decided to build the solution.
Cooperstown Legacy was born from that vision.

Casey Cooper
Founder, Coach
Casey Cooper is a military veteran and founder of Cooperstown Legacy.
Casey oversees training operations, coaching staff, athlete development, HitTrax programming, and the facility's trainer-space program.
His background in athletic coaching and military operations provides the foundation for a training environment centered on preparation, discipline, consistency, and measurable development.
Casey believes great coaching is about more than teaching mechanics.
It's about understanding the athlete, identifying opportunities for improvement, building confidence, and creating an environment where players want to work.
His philosophy:
Train with purpose. Compete with confidence. Never stop developing. Have fun.
Emily Cooper
Founder, CFO
Emily Cooper is a military veteran and co-founder of Cooperstown Legacy.

Emily brings the same discipline and commitment that shaped her military experience into the development of Cooperstown Legacy.
Her goal is simple:
Build an organization that families trust, athletes believe in, and the community is proud to have.
Why "Cooperstown Legacy"?
More Than a Name. It's a Philosophy.
The name Cooperstown Legacy represents what we believe baseball and softball are ultimately about.
The foundation of the sport: Cooperstown, NY
Legacy isn't simply what you accomplish. It's what you leave behind.
Every player who walks through our doors has an opportunity to build something that lasts
— stronger fundamentals, greater confidence, better habits, stronger character, and a deeper love for the game.
We want athletes to look back years from now and remember the work they put in here.
The early mornings.
The extra swings.
The difficult workouts.
The lessons from failure.
The coaches who believed in them.
The teammates who pushed them.
The moments when they decided not to quit.
Those experiences become part of their story.
And that story becomes their legacy.
The legacy they built.
